Jkaem and AcilioN potentially dropped from Dignitas’ CS:GO lineup

Dignitas Removes jkaem and AcilioN from CS:GO Roster

Team Dignitas, known for its talented players in European Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, has reportedly made the decision to remove Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad and Asger “AcilioN” Larsen from their team.

This move comes after approximately eight months since Dignitas acquired jkaem, who joined alongside former FaZe Clan member Ricardo “fox” Pacheco on March 23. On the other hand, AcilioN had a much shorter tenure with Dignitas, only spending two months on the roster.

As a result, the team has been playing alongside former Dignitas rifler Jorgen “cromen” Robertsen and coach Morten “zEVES” Vollan, according to HLTV.

Dignitas experienced a decline throughout 2017, which was unexpected considering their previous success with the Danish CS:GO roster. However, after the five players moved to North on January 1, 2017, the organization has struggled to compete at the top level of the CS:GO circuit.

This struggle became evident on October 14, when Dignitas failed to advance through the open online qualifier for the ELEAGUE Boston Major, the first stage of qualification.

In the round of 16, Dignitas was defeated by Swedish mix team Team5, marking the second time this year that the roster was unable to secure their attendance at a Valve Major. The squad also missed out on qualifying for the PGL Kraków Major on July 7.

As a result of these developments, Dignitas now faces a challenging situation heading into the competitive season of 2018.
