Gambit Esports Defeats Fnatic in Straight Games at PGL Major
Gambit Esports showcased their potential as Major champions with a dominant victory over Fnatic at the PGL Major. They emerged victorious in two consecutive games: 16-14 on Train and 16-12 on Inferno. Throughout both matches, Gambit consistently outperformed their opponents.
Gambit’s Victory Through Pistol Rounds
Gambit’s clean sweep of all four pistol rounds played a crucial role in their victory. This achievement is particularly impressive considering the presence of pistol specialist Dennis Edman on the Fnatic roster. Alongside captain Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko’s expert leadership, Gambit thwarted another mid-game surge by Fnatic, securing their spot in the semifinals.

This victory holds significant importance for Gambit, not only because they achieved a top-four placement but also because they avenged previous defeats by Fnatic in the quarterfinals of a Major. In a post-game interview, Dauren “AdreN” Kystaubayev expressed his team’s determination to win the tournament.
