MW3 Zombies: A Disappointing Evolution
Modern Warfare 3‘s Zombies mode, often known as MWZ, first looked promising as a new spin on classic Zombies encounters. However, it has not realized its full potential. Treyarch and other Call of Duty developers have switched their focus to projects such as Black Ops 6, leaving MW3 Zombies ignored.
The Season 4 Drought
In the most recent season of MW3, the lack of new material in the Zombies mode has been especially obvious. New upgrades and additions have been rare, leaving players with little motivation to return to the mode.
MW3 Zombies Season 4: What to Expect
Despite the weak content releases, season four of MW3 Zombies offers a new gameplay mechanic known as Unstable Rifts in Urzikstan. This function adds a level of difficulty and excitement to the mode.
Unstable Rifts: New Challenge
To get entry to an Unstable Rift, players must first deploy to the Exclusion Zone and race against time. The first team to approach and enter the Rift will encounter a swarm of zombies and other horrors. Clearing the Rift resets weapon schematic cooldowns, which adds a strategic aspect to the gameplay.
Returning to a previously visited Rift introduces fresh obstacles and foes, keeping the tension high throughout the season.
New weapons and Aftermarket Parts
Season four features four new weapons, including the Superi 46 SMG and the Kar98k marksman rifle. Additionally, eight new Aftermarket Parts will improve the capabilities of existing guns, giving players more ways to customize their loadouts.
Weapon Balance and Bug Fixes
As with previous upgrades, season four of MW3 Zombies will most likely feature weapon balancing and bug patches to improve the overall gaming experience. Keep a look out for these updates on Patch Day.
