Misfits head coach Jandro emphasizes the importance of dedicated practice and team building processes

Misfits Gaming’s Head Coach Shares Thoughts on Team’s Direction

Misfits Gaming’s head coach, Jandro, discussed the team’s goals and mindset after their recent win against Origen in the League of Legends European Championship (LEC).

Jandro emphasized that Misfits Gaming is focused on the long-term, with their sights set on reaching Worlds and performing well in the later part of the season. The team is prioritizing their practices and the process of building the team they want to be, rather than solely focusing on immediate results.

After losing their opening game against Fnatic, Misfits Gaming showed their strength and resilience by giving them a tough challenge. Their fate ultimately hinged on a 50/50 Baron fight, resulting in their first loss of the split.

However, on day three of the first LEC Super Week, Misfits Gaming redeemed themselves by dominating Origen in a game that lasted just over 30 minutes. This victory confirmed the team’s strengths and proved that they are a force to be reckoned with.

Jandro also addressed the decision to start support player Doss on the LEC roster, stating that he earned his spot through tryouts at the beginning of the split. Jandro highlighted Doss’ excellent performance and natural synergy with Kobbe, Misfits Gaming’s bot lane carry.

Doss, who was promoted from the Academy team, has played in all three of Misfits Gaming’s games so far in the 2020 LEC Summer Split. Jandro believes that Doss has immense talent and has the potential to become one of the best supports.

Misfits Gaming’s next match will be against SK Gaming in week two of the 2020 LEC Summer Split.
