Today, eStar made a critical error in their game against Bilibili Gaming, resulting in a 2-1 loss. Despite their near victory, eStar’s failure to take smite allowed BLG to secure objectives without contest.
BLG’s ADC shines in League of Legends series
Wang “Wings” Shu-Kai, the ADC for BLG, played outstandingly well on Aphelios and Ezreal in the first two games. Notably, he achieved a deathless performance on Ezreal, showcasing his skill in kiting as the Prodigal Explorer.
eStar’s smite mistake leads to defeat
In the first game, eStar faced a blunder when their jungler, Yan “Wei” Yang-Wei, forgot to take smite. This summoner spell is crucial for jungle champions, and without it, Wei struggled to clear his jungle efficiently.
Riot implemented restrictions on jungle items to prevent abuse by laners, and this meant that without smite, junglers fell behind due to the lack of bonuses from their jungle item.

Although eStar came close to a victory, the absence of smite proved too detrimental as BLG demonstrated superior objective control, resulting in eStar’s defeat.
eStar bounces back in the second game
In the second game, eStar redeemed themselves with a clean performance. Wei, who had made the smite mistake earlier, excelled on Ekko, leading his team to victory. eStar secured all neutral objectives, except the first Rift Herald, and equalized the series.
Wings dominates the third game
BLG’s ADC, Wings, delivered a spectacular performance on Ezreal in the third game. His mechanical prowess created a significant advantage for BLG’s bottom lane, leaving eStar powerless against a fed Ezreal.
The biggest surprise of the game was Wings’ use of the Hail of Blades keystone on LeBlanc against Kassadin.
