Oleksandr “S1mple” Kostyliev Starts Career with Na`Vi with a Strong Win over G2 Esports
Oleksandr “S1mple” Kostyliev has made an impressive start to his career with Na`Vi, defeating G2 Esports 2-0 in the ESL Pro League.
Despite the final scoreline, the victory was not an easy one for Na`Vi. In the first map, Dust 2, G2 Esports took an early lead. However, Na`Vi’s strong performance on the terrorist side secured a 16-12 win. S1mple had a quieter counter-terrorist half but performed well on the T side, finishing second on the scoreboard with 24 kills.
In the second map, Train, G2 Esports had the opportunity to secure a map for themselves. However, Na`Vi once again emerged victorious with a 16-11 scoreline. Although S1mple had a quieter showing in this map, his teammates GuardiaN and Flamie combined for 50 kills.
Next, Na`Vi will face Astralis to see how S1mple compares to the likes of Device and Dupreeh. G2 Esports, on the other hand, will meet FaZe Clan to conclude the opening week of the ESL Pro League.
