Fortnite Temporarily Disables Zoey Outfit Due to Glitch
Fans of Fortnite: Battle Royale will have to do without the vibrant Zoey outfit for now.
Epic Games recently announced on Twitter that they have temporarily disabled the candy lady Zoey outfit in Battle Royale. The company stated that they found an issue with the outfit and are currently working on a solution. However, the seriousness of the issue was not clarified.
Insiders, however, have shed some light on the Zoey glitch.
According to reports from Fortnite players, opponents wearing the Zoey outfit became invisible when viewed from medium to long range. While some Reddit users claimed they could see her hands and feet from a distance, her pink dress and green hair only appeared when Zoey was nearby.
A YouTube video uploaded by Daniel Willis showcases the glitch in action. In the footage, his friend wearing the Zoey outfit slowly disappears as they move further away. Eventually, only the farming tool and a portion of the green hair remain visible, while everything below the neck disappears.
Epic Games has not provided any information regarding the cause of the glitch or how long it will take to fix.
The Zoey outfit was a season four Battle Pass reward for reaching tier 47. It is part of the Sweet Tooth set, which also includes the Lollipopper farming tool, the Sugar Crash glider, and the Goodie Bag back bling.
After season four, Zoey was no longer available in the in-game store, and now players will have to wait until the glitch is resolved to see her again in their lockers.
