Nmplol asserts that Twitch’s staff poses the biggest risk to its brand.

Nmplol Criticizes Twitch for Mishandling Key Situations

Streamer Nick “nmplol” Polom took to his Twitch stream today to voice his concerns and criticism towards Twitch, stating that the company’s only brand risks are its own staff.

Nmplol specifically criticized Twitch for mishandling various important situations. He defended fellow streamer Félix “xQc” Lengyel, who was allegedly labeled as a brand risk by Twitch, and emphasized that the platform needs to reflect on its own actions.

Nmplol expressed his frustrations, stating, “They’re receiving so much negative publicity, it’s appalling. And also, the person who decided to change Ninja’s Twitch page… They’re making headlines for what they did to Ninja’s channel.”

Nmplol’s comments refer to Twitch’s mishandling of Tyler “Ninja” Blevins’ channel after he moved to Mixer. The platform used Ninja’s offline channel to promote other streamers, which led to someone streaming explicit content on his profile for over two hours before it was taken down.

Despite his criticism, nmplol believes that Twitch is currently in a better state than ever before.

“Gifted subs, auto host, raids, subscriber only, Twitch Prime… I was on Twitch when these things didn’t exist,” nmplol said. “So overall, I think Twitch has improved from its previous state.”

Nmplol initially started his streaming career by playing Blizzard’s World of Warcraft and subsequently added H1Z1 and League of Legends to his repertoire.
