Flex player Jordan “Zellsis” Montemurro has confirmed that he will continue to be a part of the Sentinels VALORANT roster when the 2023 VCT season begins. This announcement came after Zellsis and former Counter-Strike star turned VALORANT rookie Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek made their debuts for Sentinels at the NA Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ).

Permanent Position with Sentinels

Zellsis stated in an interview with that he is permanently with Sentinels now. Assuming Sentinels secures a partnered slot in the 2023 VCT Americas league, Zellsis will be a member of their starting roster next year.

Recent Acquisition

Zellsis was acquired from Version1 earlier this month in preparation for the LCQ. This move followed the surprising addition of popular streamer Shroud to the Sentinels roster. The duration of Zellsis’s involvement with Sentinels was uncertain until now, with Version1 confirming that he has joined Sentinels for the remainder of the 2022 season through a statement on Twitter.

Boot Camp Experience and Performance

Zellsis joined Sentinels at a boot camp ahead of the LCQ and expressed his enjoyment of playing with his new teammates. Although the team fell in their opening match at the NA LCQ to The Guard, Zellsis praised Shroud’s performance and acknowledged that the current Sentinels roster is still developing as a team.

Sentinels’ next VALORANT match in the NA Last Chance Qualifier is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 6 at 6pm CT in the lower bracket.
