Riot Games Reveals Luna Skinline in Celebration of Lunar New Year
Riot Games, the developers of VALORANT, have announced the upcoming release of the Luna skinline on January 26th. This special bundle celebrates the Lunar New Year, with 2023 being the Year of the Rabbit according to the Chinese zodiac calendar.
The Luna skinline features sleek new designs for some of the players’ favorite weapons in VALORANT, along with adorable rabbit gun buddies. The skins have a blue and golden appearance, with a shimmer effect, while the rabbit gun buddies are white and blue, respectively.
The Luna skinline will be available for players’ melee weapon, as well as the Ghost, Vandal, Marshal, and Spectre.
As part of the Year of the Rabbit celebration, Riot has added furry buddies to the skinline which light up. Players can activate the rabbit’s blue color by shooting the weapon that the buddy is attached to. When not activated, the buddy appears as a white rabbit.
Unlike the recently released Araxys Collection, which features cool sounds and animations, the Luna skinline does not have these additional features. However, this lunar bundle is expected to be more affordable than the Araxys collection.
The Luna bundle will be released on January 26th, four days after the start of the Lunar New Year celebration on January 22nd. The Lunar New Year is celebrated in East Asian countries that follow the Lunar calendar.
