YaBoiDre leads Luminosity to an impressive win against TSM, securing a spot at VCT Masters One

Luminosity Qualifies for VCT Masters One with 2-0 Win over TSM

Luminosity secured their spot in VCT Masters One after defeating TSM 2-0 in the second round of the NA Challengers Three upper bracket.

After defeating the Kooky Koalas and Gen.G, Luminosity faced off against TSM on TSM’s pick of Ascent. The score was tied 6-6 at halftime, but Luminosity dominated in their attacking half to win TSM’s pick with a score of 13-9.

In the second match on LG’s pick of Icebox, Diondre “YaBoiDre” Bond delivered an exceptional performance as Omen, leading the server with 25 kills and an average damage per round of 177.2. YaBoiDre’s outstanding performance earned him the MVP title for the series, with an average combat score of 272 and an impressive 4K to end the series. Luminosity won Icebox 13-7.

Despite facing a setback in Challengers Two, Luminosity’s victory in this series secures their spot in Masters. This is a significant achievement for YaBoiDre and teammate Kaleb “moose” Jayne, who joined Luminosity last month after a successful trial period.

TSM still has a chance to qualify for Masters but will face 100 Thieves in a crucial lower bracket series. The winner will advance to Masters, while the loser will be eliminated.
