XSET dominates NRG Esports, advances with perfect record at VCT Challengers 2

XSET Remains Undefeated in Group A After Victorious Match Against NRG Esports

XSET has emerged as the lone undefeated team in Group A following their impressive 2–0 win over NRG Esports at VCT Challengers Two.

At the beginning of the day, both XSET and NRG were leading Group A with one win each against Ghost Gaming and TSM, respectively. However, their clash determined the ultimate victor, and XSET came out on top.

XSET started the best-of-three series by snatching NRG’s chosen map, Bind. With the first half ending in a tie of 6–6, XSET gained momentum in the second half, winning three rounds in a row. NRG struggled to regain their footing and only managed to secure two rounds, resulting in a 13–8 victory in favor of XSET. Rory “dephh” Jackson excelled as Breach, earning the MVP award with an impressive 1.42 KD.

On Split, XSET took the lead at halftime, holding a two-round advantage over NRG. Throughout the second half, XSET and NRG battled for control, but XSET gradually extended their lead. In the end, XSET emerged as the victor, leaving NRG unable to close out the match on Split.

XSET’s 13–9 triumph secured a 2–0 series win and maintained their unbeaten record in Group A.

In upcoming VALORANT matches, NRG will face off against Ghost Gaming on May 29, while XSET will take on 100 Thieves on May 28, aiming to retain their undefeated status in Challengers Two.
