XERXIA separates from VALORANT trio

XERXIA Releases VALORANT Players, Becoming Unrestricted Free Agents

XERXIA, a Thai organization, has announced the release of its VALORANT players, making them unrestricted free agents. The players include Thanamethk “Crws” Mahatthananuyut, Panyawat “sushiboys” Subsiriroj, Itthirit “foxz” Ngamsaard, coach Yuttanagorn “Zeus” Kaewkongyai, and manager Jirawat “HeadHawk” Kalumpanun.

XERXIA and Team Part Ways

XERXIA’s decision to part ways with the team comes after their top 16 finish at the recent VALORANT Champions event and their exclusion from VALORANT’s partnership program. Nutchaphon “sScary” Matarat had already left the team, joining Bleed eSports. It is uncertain whether player Thanachart “Surf” Rungapajaratkul will remain with XERXIA, as he was not mentioned in the announcement.

All the departed team members had been with XERXIA since January 2022. After their contracts with X10 CRIT expired, the Thai organization acquired Crws, sushiboys, foxz, and Zeus. Under XERXIA, they participated in three international VALORANT events this year, achieving top 10 at VCT Masters One Reykjavík in April and top 12 at VCT Masters Two Copenhagen in July, in addition to their recent performance at Champions.

According to ONE Esports, there are rumors that Crws, sushiboys, and foxz are headed to Talon Esports. Talon Esports, which has secured a spot in the VCT 2023 Pacific league, is also rumored to bring back star player Patiphan Chaiwong to VALORANT. Patiphan previously played alongside the former XERXIA trio on X10 CRIT but transitioned back to Overwatch in 2022.

The future of XERXIA in professional VALORANT remains uncertain.
