Riot Games revealed the newest Agent in VALORANT, named Deadlock, during the VCT Masters Tokyo finals. Deadlock is a Norwegian Sentinel who uses advanced nanowire technology to defend the battlefield against deadly attacks. With her kit, Deadlock can halt enemies with barriers and concussive blasts, making them easy targets.
We had the opportunity to witness some of Deadlock’s abilities in action in the Episode Seven cinematic “UNMADE.” In this cinematic, Deadlock and her companions face a mutated bear while escorting a scientist across a frozen wasteland. You can watch the cinematic here: [Youtube link]
Like other Agents in VALORANT, Deadlock has her own unique voice lines that bring her character to life. People are naturally curious about who will be the voice behind Deadlock, so let’s find out.
Who is Deadlock’s voice actor in VALORANT?
On June 30th, Riot Games confirmed that Nora Gjestvang is the voice actor for Deadlock in VALORANT. Gjestvang revealed that her favorite voice line for Deadlock is, “My territory, my rules!” which is associated with Deadlock’s ultimate ability, Annihilation.

Gjestvang has previously done voice acting work for animated dubs, including voiceover dubs for Disney films like Moana and Turning Red. Staying true to their casting decisions, Riot Games selected a Norwegian voice actor to portray the Norwegian character in VALORANT.
With Deadlock now added to Gjestvang’s resume, we can expect to hear more of Deadlock’s lines in future animated shorts that VALORANT releases for its characters.
