Noot Noot’s Cheating Scandal Rocks VALORANT Game Changers
The VALORANT Game Changers team known as “noot noot” has found themselves in the midst of a cheating scandal. After a ruling from Riot Games, their match against Complexity GX3 has been declared a forfeit.
Noot noot may not be as well-known as other players and organizations in the VALORANT Game Changers community. So, who exactly is this team that’s causing a stir?
The Cheating Scandal Involving Noot Noot Explained
Noot noot is a group of free agents who were forced to forfeit their match against Complexity GX3. Riot’s anti-cheat measures discovered that “competitive integrity was compromised by noot noot.”
The news of the forfeit sparked outrage among the VALORANT community. Shopify Rebellion, in particular, trolled noot noot for losing while cheating. Disguised Toast, an online personality and org owner, expressed his disbelief that noot noot was disqualified from the tournament. Meanwhile, the r/ValorantCompetitive subreddit is on a detective mission, trying to determine the extent of noot noot’s cheating influence on previous matches. Some Malibu clips are now being viewed with suspicion.
Malibu, the player accused of cheating, denies the allegations. He suggests that the integrity violation could be due to ban evasion. Loic “effys” Sauvageau, head coach for Version1, hinted at the possibility that one of noot noot’s players used AI-generated ID photos.
Noot noot hasn’t achieved much success in the Game Changers series and remains relatively unknown. According to VLR.gg, only two members of the team are listed with their real names: Marceline “karie” Carson, a player, and Cole “Lycain” Ramsey, the team’s manager. They have achieved decent placements in tournaments like the Sakura Cup and Super Girl Gamer Pro Summer 2023. However, in Game Changers Series III, they were knocked down to the lower bracket by Disguised GC and ultimately suffered a forfeit loss to Complexity GX3. Their total prize pool winnings amount to $5,250.
One of noot noot’s players, “mili,” addressed the controversy and expressed remorse to their disappointed supporters. They claimed to be unaware of their new teammate’s cheating and emphasized that they had no suspicions at the time but can now understand why others might consider it obvious.
