Who is Tarik? Get the scoop on the VALORANT powerhouse taking over Twitch

Tarik Celik: From CS:GO Pro to Twitch Streamer

Tarik Celik, a former professional CS:GO player, has transitioned into a successful Twitch streamer. Despite growing up in a traditional Turkish-American household that didn’t encourage his eSports aspirations, Tarik pursued his gaming dreams.

During high school, Tarik created a collection of popular Counter-Strike deathmatch servers, which gained recognition within the community. This helped him establish a growing reputation.

Eventually, Tarik started streaming on Twitch under the name ‘NoShirtTV,’ and his entertaining streams, combined with his hyper-aggressive playstyle, made him even more popular in the gaming scene.

In 2015, he qualified for the MLG 2015 LAN tournament and infamously streamed the qualifier final while eating cereal. Throughout his career in CS:GO, Tarik played for various teams and won 18 tournaments, earning a total of $788,602 in prize money.

Tarik’s Transition to VALORANT

In 2021, Tarik shifted his focus from professional play to streaming and ventured into playing VALORANT, which became the primary source of his content. He later became a content creator for Sentinels in August 2022.

While he primarily streams VALORANT, Tarik has also played other games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, Minecraft, Warzone, League of Legends, Among Us, PUBG, and GTA V, although not as regularly.

Tarik’s Streaming Setup and Earnings

Tarik’s streaming setup includes peripherals like the Logitech G Pro Wireless mouse, HyperX Alloy FPS PRO keyboard, BenQ ZOWIE XL2546 monitor, and Sennheiser Game Zero headset. His gaming PC features a GeForce RTX 3080 TI GPU, Ryzen 5950X CPU, and other components.

Although Tarik’s exact earnings from streaming aren’t disclosed, he made $788,602 in prize money from his time as a professional CS:GO player. In addition to streaming, he also generates revenue from sponsorship deals and his YouTube channel.

Tarik’s Popularity on Twitch

Tarik gained popularity on Twitch initially through his impressive CS:GO skills, entertaining personality, and sense of humor. As a clutch player in esports, his popularity as a streamer soared. However, his numbers hit new heights when he started streaming VALORANT.

Since streaming VALORANT, Tarik’s Twitch followers have grown from 800,000 to 2.2 million and continue to increase. He’s on track to reach 3 million followers by the end of the year.

Future Plans for Tarik

Tarik’s streaming future revolves around continuing to stream VALORANT due to its immense viewership numbers. As a content creator for Sentinels, he may collaborate with players within the organization and stream their competitive matches with his own commentary.
