Who is Stewie2k’s VALORANT team known as The Nation?

The VALORANT Challengers North America open qualifier began on January 9th, and there is a rising team gaining attention on social media. This team is not only notable for its players, but also because they have yet to suffer a defeat.

The team, known as The Nation, consists of five players. One of the prominent members of The Nation is former CS:GO professional player Stewie2K, who made the transition to VALORANT in July 2022 to focus on content creation. But who else is playing alongside Stewie2K in his first serious venture in professional VALORANT?

Introducing The Nation in VALORANT esports

Joining Stewie2K in this new project are former VALORANT and CS:GO professional players brax and WARDELL, former Shopify Rebellion member Tanner “TiGG” Spanu, and former TSM player Daniel “Rossy” Abedrabbo.

Brax was the first professional player in VALORANT, signing with T1 in March 2020. He then played for TSM and T1 again before transitioning to content creation in October 2021. WARDELL, on the other hand, made the switch from CS:GO to VALORANT in 2020, spending nearly two years under the TSM banner from 2020 to 2022. After leaving TSM in March 2022, he briefly played for Version1 before putting his professional career on hold.

As of now, The Nation remains undefeated in the VALORANT Challengers North America open qualifier. So far, Stewie2K and the team have triumphed over ODU Monarchs, StarlessGG, OTF, DMG, and Dark Ratio.
