What’s Coming in Act III of VALORANT?

The next act of the ongoing VALORANT episode is just around the corner. On April 27, Act III will kick off, bringing new content, updates, and a brand new map. Act II introduced exciting changes, such as the addition of the agent Astra, who has unique abilities like astral projection. Patch 2.06 also made significant adjustments to agents and weapons. Act III promises even more excitement. Let’s take a closer look at what we can expect.

Breeze: A New Map

Rumors have been circulating about a new map called Breeze. Teasers from the VALORANT team suggest that it will be a beach-themed map. Official screenshots released on April 21 gave players a sneak peek at some of the locations, including a mossy stone archway and a dock with a view of a yacht. If confirmed, Breeze will be the sixth map added to VALORANT’s map pool.

Patch 2.08: New Updates and Coaching Slots

When Act III launches, we can expect a new patch, 2.08, to accompany it. This patch will bring bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, and potentially some changes to the competitive balance. One exciting announcement is the addition of coaching slots for VALORANT coaches. Coaches have been eager to have better observation tools, and this update will fulfill their needs. The VALORANT team is committed to providing more coaching tools in the future.

New Battle Pass and Cosmetic Rewards

With the release of Act III, a new battle pass will be introduced, offering a wave of cosmetic rewards. Players will have the opportunity to unlock weapon skins, charms, banners, titles, and sprays. Even players who don’t want to spend money can earn free rewards by completing chapters. However, for those with a larger budget, purchasing all the rewards upfront will cost around $150.
