Fans of VALORANT can now dive into Episode Two, Act II, which brings exciting updates and a new agent named Astra. This action-packed act will run until April 27, giving players plenty of time to explore all the new content.

In this update, players will have the opportunity to master Astra, a versatile agent capable of adapting to any situation. Astra’s unique playstyle revolves around placing stars that can be activated to unleash various abilities and turn the tide in battle.

Astra’s kit includes the Gravity Well, a powerful ability that pulls opponents towards the star’s center before exploding, inflicting them with the vulnerable debuff. Additionally, her Nova Pulse briefly charges before concussing all enemies within its radius. Astra can also create cover with the Nebula ability, providing a smokescreen that lasts for 15 seconds.

One of Astra’s unique abilities is Dissipate, which allows her to call back stars, creating a fake Nebula before disappearing. Finally, her Cosmic Divide ultimate creates a protective wall that blocks bullets and reduces audio disturbance.

Aside from the new agent, Episode Two, Act II also introduces a new battle pass filled with exciting cosmetic items such as weapon skins, gun buddies, player cards, and sprays. Additionally, ranked play has received updates, allowing players of different ranks to play together. Furthermore, visible ranks have been removed from in-game and pre-match screens.
