When will the new map Fracture be released in VALORANT?

Riot Games Confirms VALORANT’s Seventh Map: Fracture

Riot Games has finally confirmed the debut of Fracture, the seventh map for VALORANT. Fracture will be introduced in Episode Three, Act Two, and players can expect not only a unique layout but also more mirrorverse lore. This new map will challenge players to rethink their approach to the typical attack-and-defend strategy in the tactical shooter.

Release Date of Fracture

Fracture is scheduled to release with Patch 3.05 on September 8th. However, due to the Labor Day weekend, Riot may have pushed back the new act by one day. The current battle pass will end in six days, and shortly after, Episode Three, Act Two will begin.

What to Expect from the New Map

Fracture features a unique H-shape layout, with the defenders’ spawn in the middle and attackers able to approach from both sides. The landscape of the map includes an arid desert environment, overgrown foliage, and abandoned buildings. Additionally, players can utilize long ziplines running under the map for easy navigation across Fracture.

For lore enthusiasts, Fracture will offer insights into VALORANT’s mirrorverse lore. It will provide a deeper understanding of the conflict between Earth and its twin. The map is filled with objects that may hold answers to unsolved mysteries, as mirror agents try to seize Earth-1’s Radianite supply.
