When is the upcoming Night Market event in VALORANT?

VALORANT’s Night Market: A Great Opportunity to Get Discounted Skins

VALORANT, a free-to-play game, offers weapon skins and cosmetic items for monetization. While some of these skins can be expensive, there is a budget-friendly option available—the Night Market.

The Night Market is a limited-time event that offers special skins at discounted prices. It’s a great opportunity for players to spice up their collection without breaking the bank.

The skins available in the Night Market are chosen randomly, giving players a chance to get lucky and land their favorite skins. Each player will have a choice of up to six skins from different weapon bundles, with varying discount percentages offered. Importantly, players won’t see any skins they already own. Only specific collections are eligible for the Night Market.

The Night Market is a recurring event that returns once every Act. So, even if players don’t get the skin they want in one Night Market, they may have a second chance in the next one.

When is VALORANT’s Next Night Market?

The Night Market typically goes live during the last two to three weeks of an Episode’s Act and stays active until the next Act. The upcoming Night Market for Episode Seven, Act Two will start on October 11 and end on October 30. Players will have plenty of time to decide which skins they want to add to their collection during the two to three-week duration of the Night Market.

All Skin Collections Eligible for VALORANT’s Next Night Market

It’s important to note that the newest skins in the game will not appear in the Night Market after their release. For Episode Seven, Act One, players can expect to see skins from Episode Six, Act One in the Night Market. Exclusive and Ultra tier skins, as well as limited-time event bundles, will also not be available in the Night Market.

How Does the Night Market in VALORANT Work?

Once the Night Market begins, players will see a black rectangular box on the top-right corner of the game screen. Clicking on it will reveal six color-coded cards, each hiding a gun or knife skin along with a discounted price. Interacting with the cards will reveal the offers.

The Night Market offers discounts ranging from 10 to 49 percent, unlike the Daily Store which sells skins at their standard prices. The discounts may vary and not always be impressive. Each player will have a different Night Market with different offers.

The type of skin behind a card can be identified by its color. Blue cards represent Select Edition gun skins, green cards represent Deluxe Edition gun skins, pink cards represent Premium Edition gun skins, and yellow cards represent melee skins.

Usually, a Night Market collection will include at least two knife skins or Premium Edition skins. However, no more than two skins of the same weapon will appear, although this rule does not apply to skins from the same bundle.

It’s important to note that players may not receive the exact skin they want from the Night Market. Rerolls are not available, so the only option is to wait for the next Night Market or check the store daily. It’s all a game of luck.

How Long Does a Night Market Last in VALORANT?

Night Markets usually last for a few weeks before being rotated out of the game. Once the offers are revealed, players have until the store leaves to make their purchase. The previous Night Market lasted for 19 days.

From VALORANT’s release in 2020 until 2022, Night Markets stayed in the game for a maximum of two weeks or 14 days. However, with Episode Five, Act Three, the Night Market remained active for almost a month. Since then, Night Markets have seen an increased timeframe, with Episode Six, Act One, and Episode Six, Act Two hosting their Night Markets for 20 days each.
