A New Duelist Is Coming to VALORANT
A new duelist with a unique kit that focuses on aim is making its way to VALORANT. This will be the first new duelist since Neon in January 2022. Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of Iso in VALORANT.
Iso was announced as the 23rd agent of VALORANT on Oct. 19, marking the first new duelist in over a year and a half. Riot Games has since released four other agents: Two initiators (Fade and Gekko), a sentinel (Deadlock), and a controller (Harbor).
The role of a duelist is very popular in ranked play, so it was about time for a new duelist to arrive. This will not only bring excitement but also have an impact on future metas of the game. Luckily, Iso’s arrival is just around the corner.
When Will Iso Become Playable in VALORANT?
Iso will be available for players starting from Oct. 31, when Episode Seven, Act Three begins. This means that Halloween will not just be about the new battle pass or completing the current one, but also about unlocking Iso for those eagerly waiting.
Not only is a new duelist an exciting addition to the game, but Iso’s ultimate ability has already generated a lot of discussion within the VALORANT community. Many consider him to be a more viable version of Reyna, a duelist who focuses on one-versus-one fights and good aim despite lacking mobility.
How Much Does Iso Cost in VALORANT?
Iso can be unlocked for either 1,000 VALORANT points or 8,000 Kingdom Credits. Players can use the Kingdom Credits they’ve earned from daily and weekly challenges or purchase VALORANT points to unlock Iso instantly. The cost for Iso is $10 USD or the equivalent amount in VALORANT points in your region.
While it may take some time for players to accumulate enough in-game currency or real-world money to unlock Iso, the Xbox Game Pass offers an easy way for dedicated players to access new agents instantly upon release.
Just make sure to link your Microsoft account to your Riot Games account. By doing so, you’ll have access to all agents, including new releases, whenever you log into VALORANT. As long as you maintain your subscription, Iso will be available to you.
