What to Expect in the Next VALORANT Act

VALORANT follows a seasonal model with Episodes and Acts. Each Act lasts for about two to three months and comes with new content like agents, maps, and modes.

Currently, VALORANT is in Act Three of Episode Seven. This Act introduced the duelist Iso, the map Sunset, the agent Deadlock, and the Team Deathmatch mode.

In the next Act, which will be the start of Episode Eight, players can expect more exciting additions. Unfortunately, there is no confirmation on what exactly will be included. It’s unlikely that a new agent will be introduced so soon after Iso’s release. A new map is a possibility, but considering Sunset’s recent release, it may not be the focus. Perhaps a new game mode or a new gun could be part of the upcoming Act.

VALORANT fans will have to wait and see for more details. Keep an eye out for announcements, as Riot usually gives their employees time off during the holidays, meaning news about the next Act could come soon.

When is the Next VALORANT Act?

The next VALORANT Act will coincide with the start of Episode Eight. According to the in-game timer on the Battle Pass page, Episode Eight, Act One will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024.
