What VALORANT agents do 100 Thieves prefer in their lineup?

100 Thieves Punches Ticket to VALORANT Champions Tour Masters

The reigning First Strike champions, 100 Thieves, secured their spot in the first Masters event of the VALORANT Champions Tour after a shaky start to Challengers. Although they lost in the grand finals to FaZe, they managed to defeat TSM in the lower bracket of Challengers Three.

The team is still adjusting to their newest addition, Ethan, who joined from Evil Geniuses’ CS:GO team just before their Challengers Three run. The addition of Ethan has led to a slight change in their agent composition, but nothing too drastic.

Agent Composition of 100 Thieves

Here’s what you’ll typically see in an agent composition from 100 Thieves:

Hiko on Sova

Hiko, known for his clutch plays, has been a consistent player on Sova throughout 100 Thieves’ success. He utilizes Sova’s abilities to put his teammates in advantageous positions and relies on them when he needs to clutch himself.

Hiko’s proficiency with Sova’s recon and shock arrows allows him to remain effective even when walled or smoked off. Along with his precise aim and calm clutch plays, he has been crucial to the success of 100 Thieves.

Steel on Cypher/Killjoy

Steel has been holding down the defense as both Cypher and Killjoy for 100 Thieves. Cypher, a popular pick among tactical leaders in North America, has proven to be effective in derailing attacking site plays through Steel’s smart camera and tripwire placements.

Steel was the first to effectively utilize Killjoy’s Lockdown ultimate during First Strike. Although other teams have started using her utility, none have matched Steel’s level of play.

Ethan on Omen

Ethan, the newest addition to 100 Thieves, has made a solid debut in VALORANT, helping the team reach the Masters stage. Despite limited preparation time, he has taken on the role of Omen, a favorite pick in North America.

Ethan has quickly adapted to Omen’s abilities, using them to secure early picks and position himself advantageously. He displayed a positive first kill/first death distribution throughout the series at Challengers Three, standing out even in the team’s loss to FaZe.

Nitr0 on Breach/Sage

With Ethan taking on Omen, nitr0 had to switch agents for Challengers Three. His choices were Sage, the healer, and Breach, the entry specialist. While he spent more time playing Sage, he showed competence on both agents.

Nitr0 demonstrated his skill with BattleSage on several occasions, utilizing her abilities to heal himself and control engagements with slows and walls.

Asuna on Raze

Asuna, the lone duelist of 100 Thieves, opted for the explosive agent Raze during Challengers Three, deviating from the two to three duelist setups commonly seen in North America. He showcased his dominance with Raze and was the primary fragger for the team during crucial wins.

Asuna’s performance under the pressure of being the sole duelist has been remarkable.

100 Thieves will compete against Immortals in the upcoming Masters event.
