Viper’s Smoke and Wall Spots on Split in VALORANT
In VALORANT, using smokes and walls strategically is crucial for narrowing down your enemies’ rotating options and pushing toward objectives. Recently, a VALORANT player shared a collection of smoke and wall spots on the map Split that you can take advantage of with Viper.
Use Toxic Screen to Block Rotations
Viper is particularly useful when it comes to blocking off rotations. One strategic Toxic Screen spot is located towards the right of the attacker’s spawn side. Stand close to the first set of boxes that appear when you turn left, aiming for the corner of the two roofs. Slowly increase your aim to plant the wall between Main A and the A bombsite.
Another effective Toxic Screen spot can be shot from Lobby B, which is located towards the left of the attackers’ spawn. Stand next to the visible dumpster before entering the hallway, aiming slightly higher than the second Chinese tile. The Smoke Screen will cut the B bombsite in half.
For the third Toxic Screen, position yourself at the entrance of Screens A, a couple of steps away from the door. Aim towards the gap between the lower roof and the edge of the neighboring building’s balcony. This Toxic Screen will completely block off the wider entrance of the A bombsite.
To block off connections leading to the A bombsite from Ramps A and Main A, stand on top of the yellow tiles going down on the upper side of Top Mid. Aim for the fourth gap on a construction piece and shoot to create a barrier.
Poison Cloud Locations
In addition to Toxic Screen, Viper’s Poison Cloud can also be strategically placed. For example, place it at the left edge of the second steel rod to block the vision of anyone trying to peek the B bombsite while maintaining clear vision for yourself.
Another effective Poison Cloud location is throwing it toward the ceiling while standing on the first steps of the staircase. This blocks the view of anyone peeking from Top Mid into Mail Mid.
By placing Poison Clouds strategically, Viper gains a vision advantage against enemies pushing towards the featured doors in Tower A and Ramps A.
