VersionX undergoes roster changes in preparation for NA Game Changers

VersionX Announces Roster Changes Ahead of Next VALORANT Tournament

VersionX, the female VALORANT team representing Version1, has made some roster changes before the upcoming tournament, and more changes are expected in the future.

Naomi Sauvola and Rachel “rushhh” Lynn Hang have both departed the team, while Katherine “Karra” Lee has expressed her interest in trying out for other teams. Although Karra will remain on the team for now, she will also explore opportunities elsewhere.

Naomi and rushhh were signed from the free agent team Just Breathe, along with the other original members of the roster. Currently, Karra is the only founding member remaining on the team, as Katriggered and Starlight were signed later in March.

According to head coach Martin “Anderzz” Schelasin, the team will undergo further changes to build the roster around Katriggered and Starlight, after assessing the team’s performance in the most recent Game Changers tournament.

Anderzz said, “Given our results in the most recent Game Changers, the team has decided to make some pretty significant changes, now building around both Kat and Starlight as sort of the core of our roster moving forward. In terms of the roster moving forward, that will be a fairly quick process, so you can absolutely keep your eyes peeled as to where we’re headed.”

VersionX did not achieve outstanding results in any of this year’s Game Changers tournaments. They reached the playoffs in the first NA Game Changers but placed seventh-eighth, along with Dart Monkeys. In the qualifying round for the second tournament, they were eliminated after losing to Dart Monkeys.

The next NA Game Changers tournament will take place on October 13, and it can be expected that VersionX will have a different roster for this final tournament before the international Game Changers tournament.
