VALORANT’s Ranked Mode Temporarily Expands to Korea, Latin America, and Brazil Tomorrow

Riot Adds Competitive Mode to VALORANT Closed Beta in Korea, Latin America, and Brazil

Riot recently expanded the closed beta for VALORANT, adding three more regions to the game. And now, players in Korea, Latin America, and Brazil can look forward to the introduction of the highly anticipated Competitive mode, starting tomorrow, May 15.

Ranked Queue Schedule and Limited Time Availability

The ranked queue for VALORANT in Korea will open on May 15 at 9am KST, while Latin America and Brazil will kick off at 9am CST and 11am BRT, respectively. It’s important to note that the Competitive mode will only be available for a limited time, with Riot evaluating server stability and ending the ranked queue on May 19.

20 Unrated Matches before Jumping into Ranked

If you’re eager to start playing ranked immediately, make sure to complete your 20 required unrated matches first. Since the ranked mode will only be accessible in these regions temporarily, it is advised to fulfill the requirement beforehand.

Potential Permanent Launch of Ranked Mode

Although it remains uncertain when Riot will permanently launch ranked mode in these three regions, if the server stability is proven, Competitive queues are likely to follow shortly after.

Ranked queues for North America and Europe were introduced two weeks ago, and Riot has mentioned that the mode will be activated and deactivated sporadically during the closed beta to make necessary fixes.
