Valorant Reveals New Agent Iso with Lethal Abilities
The recently released trailer for Valorant introduces Iso, the game’s upcoming agent. With his unique set of abilities, Iso is expected to be one of the most formidable duelists in the game.
The trailer takes place after the explosion at the Kingdom facility, as depicted in the Sunset map reveal trailer. In the trailer, a Kingdom scientist and her group of mercenaries discuss Iso, describing him in almost mythical terms. The hired assassin Iso is portrayed as a truly terrifying presence.
One of the guards refers to Iso as a “bulletproof wizard.” The video shows Iso walking through a hail of bullets seemingly unaffected, though it is unclear whether the bullets are bouncing off him or if he’s simply dodging them. They mention that he eliminated an entire squad with a single round, wielding a pistol resembling the Sheriff. This suggests that he may have the ability to retrieve bullets, a feature similar to other duelists.
Iso is known by the nickname “The Dead Lilac,” a reference to the purple flash that is said to precede death. This suggests that he may possess a flash ability, similar to duelists like Phoenix and Yoru. The trailer also reveals a possible ultimate ability at around the 1:54 mark. It shows a large purple effect with Iso’s symbol isolating a single enemy squad member, indicating an ultimate that forces a one-on-one confrontation, as fans have speculated.
In the closing moments of the trailer, Iso is given a new target: Omen. Additionally, a gameplay reveal trailer for Iso is scheduled for tomorrow, October 20. However, his abilities have already leaked just minutes after the original trailer premiered.
