Riot Games Pauses Twitch Drops for VALORANT Closed Beta

The first day of the VALORANT closed beta concluded with server issues, leading Riot Games to temporarily pause drops on Twitch. In a tweet from the official VALORANT Twitter account, Riot acknowledged the incredible and humbling response to the beta, but expressed the need to address server scalability. Consequently, stream drops will be paused until tomorrow morning (PT).

Despite surpassing 1 million viewers on Twitch, numerous players encountered issues during the beta launch. Some experienced error codes and server problems, while others are still waiting for beta access keys. Riot has acknowledged these concerns and promised to provide updates to the community.

Around 12 hours after the beta launch, Riot’s servers for VALORANT and League of Legends began experiencing issues. Players encountered new error codes and League players reported missing friends from their lists.
