VALORANT to Experience 2-Hour Server Downtime on April 15 for Hotfix

Riot Games to Release VALORANT Hotfix for European and North American Servers

Riot Games has announced that they will be releasing a hotfix for VALORANT to address a number of map exploits. The hotfix will first be implemented for North American servers, causing queues to freeze at 6:30am CT on Wednesday, April 15. The servers will then go offline at 8am CT and are expected to be back up at 10am CT. European players will already experience frozen queues and their servers will go down at approximately 10pm CT, as per the official VALORANT Twitter account.

For NA servers, Riot will proceed with the patch on April 15. Queues will freeze at 4:30am PT and go offline at 6am PT. Players can expect the servers to be back up by 8am PT, according to a tweet by the official VALORANT account.

In addition to addressing map exploits, Riot also plans to make adjustments to Cypher’s camera and fix audio drops after consecutive games.

Yesterday, Riot had initially planned to take down NA servers, but the tweet regarding this was deleted. At the time of deletion, Riot explained that they were still working on a hotfix for the region.

This hotfix aims to improve the gaming experience and ensure fair gameplay for all players.
