VALORANT sensation ScreaM stays focused on ultimate goal amid challenging Karmine Corp season

Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom Aims to Win with Brother Despite Tumultuous VALORANT Season

The 2023 VALORANT season has been a rough ride for Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom and his team, Karmine Corp. Despite being eliminated from the VALORANT Champions Tour EMEA playoffs, ScreaM remains determined to achieve a tournament victory alongside his brother.

Following their final match on May 18, where Karmine Corp’s chances of reaching the playoffs were officially dashed, ScreaM took to Twitter to express his determination: “I won’t give up until I win with my brother,” he wrote. “This split has been the worst in many aspects but we’ll be back stronger. Time to reset and try again.”

For ScreaM, winning alongside his brother has been a long-standing dream throughout his VALORANT career. In an interview with during the inaugural Champions event in 2021, he emphasized that it would mean everything to him to lift a trophy with his brother.

While they fell short of their goal with their previous team, Team Liquid, losing in the semifinals, ScreaM’s determination remains unwavering. The Benrlitom brothers now find themselves further away from their elusive trophy, but their hope remains strong.

Aside from VALORANT, ScreaM is also known for his impressive career in CS:GO, where he was renowned for his one-tap skills. Although he missed out on claiming a Major trophy in CS:GO, ScreaM’s era in the game is coming to an end as the French BLAST Major approaches. However, his career in VALORANT may still have more to offer.

The 28-year-old ScreaM, along with his brother and Karmine Corp, still has a chance to qualify for Champions 2023 through the EMEA Last Chance Qualifier. The outcome of this tournament will determine whether they can achieve their ultimate goal of lifting a trophy together.
