Valorant Player Shows Off Impressive Amount of In-Game Currency Earned Without Spending

Radianite in VALORANT: How One Player Earned 1,000 Radianite Without Spending a Cent

In a Sept. 19 Reddit thread, a player proudly shared their achievement of acquiring 1,000 free Radianite over the three years they’ve been playing VALORANT. While many players are willing to pay for this in-game currency, this player found a way to accumulate it without spending any money.

How Radianite Can be Obtained

Radianite can be obtained in a few different ways. The most direct method is purchasing it, but it comes at a high cost. For example, 20 Radianite costs 1,600 VALORANT Points (VP), 40 Radianite is 2,800 VP, and 80 Radianite is 4,800 VP. These prices are often higher than the cost of weapon skins. It takes about 10-15 Radianite to upgrade one level of a skin.

Earning Radianite Through the Battle Pass

Instead of buying Radianite, most players choose to earn it through the battle pass. The battle passes include both free Radianite and additional paid Radianite if the pass is upgraded.

The Journey to 1,000 Radianite

If this player truly earned their 1,000 Radianite without paying for any upgrades, it would have taken them a long time to accumulate that much. In the current Episode Seven, Act Two battle pass, you can earn a total of 60 free Radianite without any upgrades. At that rate, it would take around 17 battle passes to reach the 1,000 mark.

While the player achieved their 1,000 Radianite without spending money, they paid the price in time and dedication. “Every match costs a piece of your soul,” one player joked.

Another player commented that time is the most valuable asset and nothing is truly free. It takes grinding through multiple battle passes to earn that much Radianite without spending money. For this player, it took three years of dedication.

Other players have also acquired a good amount of Radianite over time, usually with the help of an upgraded battle pass. Everyone has their own approach to earning and spending Radianite, but it’s always a valuable in-game currency.
