VALORANT player sets sights on world record following intense 50-round match

VALORANT Player Questions World Record for Longest Game

A VALORANT player recently posted images on Reddit of a lengthy 26-24 victory in a high-rank lobby. The match lasted for one hour and 28 minutes, and the player is curious if this sets a world record for the longest game in VALORANT history.

The player with the most kills in the match recorded 49, just one short of the coveted 50 bomb. Each player achieved at least 25 frags, resulting in a combined total of over 350 kills.

Interestingly, none of the players chose to end the game in a tie despite having the option to do so after the third overtime. In VALORANT, only one vote is needed to end the game in a draw. However, all 10 players were determined to see this match through to the end, regardless of their full bladders or fatigue.

While it is uncertain whether this game truly holds the record for the longest in VALORANT history, a Rioter commented on the Reddit post, stating that they will examine the data to determine if any matches have lasted longer.

This article will be updated to include Riot’s confirmation or denial of the record-setting match.
