KAY/O Introduces New Suppression Mechanic in VALORANT Episode Three
In the latest episode of VALORANT, the highly anticipated character KAY/O made his debut, bringing with him a new suppression mechanic that has players excited. This robotic agent has the ability to nullify enemy abilities while also providing valuable intel on the opposing team. Players have already started experimenting with line-ups using KAY/O and one player has found a powerful line-up that can suppress most of Bind’s A site.
To execute this line-up, KAY/O players need to stand in the corner of A Lobby facing the entrance to Showers. By focusing on a specific point on one of the clouds in the sky, they can throw their suppression blade to land on top of the triple stack of green boxes. This effectively suppresses a large portion of the site and provides information on the enemy’s position.
However, there are a few flaws in this line-up. If an enemy is in A Heaven, they can avoid being suppressed. Additionally, they can shoot the blade before it explodes if their aim is fast enough. The suppression explosion does not reach U-hall or A Short, so teammates will need to check those spots separately.
As KAY/O’s release is still relatively new, players are excited to discover more useful line-ups to suppress and identify the opposing team.
