VALORANT PBE implements Chamber nerfs in latest update

Nerfs to Chamber’s Abilities Now Live on VALORANT Public Beta Environment

The latest update to the VALORANT public beta environment brings nerfs to Chamber’s Tour De Force, Headhunter, Trademark, and more.

Player feedback has prompted these nerfs to Chamber, a character released in November last year. While some changes were made to Chamber’s abilities and the removal of one of his Trademarks, these adjustments were not enough to balance his value with other agents. The upcoming nerfs will significantly impact Chamber’s playstyle, requiring players to adapt to new situations.

The first change affects Chamber’s teleport ability, Rendezvous, which will now have an increased cooldown time. Previously, Rendezvous had a 20-second cooldown, which has now been extended to 30 seconds. Additionally, the teleport’s radius size has been reduced from 21 meters to 15, limiting the distance Chamber can teleport.

Chamber’s Trademark ability, used to catch enemies on flanks or when they enter a site, has also been altered. The duration of the slow effect triggered by the Trademark has been reduced from 9.5 seconds to 6.

Chamber’s ultimate ability, Tour De Force, will also receive adjustments. Instead of reducing the number of bullets, the ultimate now requires eight points instead of seven. Similar to the Trademark, Tour De Force’s slow effect will last for six seconds instead of the previous 9.5 seconds. Additionally, Chamber’s Headhunter bullets will now cost 150 credits instead of the original 100, increasing the cost per bullet compared to a Sheriff.

Players can now test these Chamber nerfs on the PBE before they are implemented on the main servers in the near future.
