VALORANT Patch 3.01 addresses account level bug that didn’t adequately reward loyal players

VALORANT Patch 3.01 to Fix Account Level Bug

VALORANT Patch 3.01, while not as extensive as its predecessor, will address the pesky account level bug that has been troubling longtime players.

Fix for Account Leveling Issue

In the previous update, Riot introduced a new account leveling feature that rewards players with display borders based on their level. However, the system failed to properly recognize the time and effort that VALORANT veterans had already invested in the game. Fortunately, the upcoming patch will resolve this issue and ensure that longtime players receive the correct account level, while also retaining the AP they earned while at the wrong level. This will serve as a retroactive reward for those who have been playing since Episode One.

Other Fixes and Improvements

The patch will also address a visual problem related to account leveling at the end of the game screen. Additionally, several bugs will be fixed, such as Sage’s inability to place Barrier Orb on certain projectiles mid-air and KAY/O being unable to receive healing while downed from his ultimate ability.

Expected Release of Patch 3.01

Although some players anticipated the patch to be deployed earlier, it was delayed, likely due to the Fourth of July holiday weekend. VALORANT Patch 3.01 is expected to go live later today.
