In a tweet, FNATIC announced mini’s departure, acknowledging the team’s outstanding achievements in the VCT 2024 campaign. Mini’s decision came after careful consideration to explore other options. Fans have been supportive, understanding the importance of mental health in esports.
Fnatic has had an impressive year, winning two international trophies under mini’s guidance. They emerged victorious at VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo in March and triumphed at Masters Tokyo in June. However, they couldn’t clinch the top spot in their domestic league, finishing second after losing to Team Liquid. In VALORANT Champions 2023, they reached the fourth position after losing to LOUD.
With mini’s departure, an era comes to an end for Fnatic. Mini was the head coach of SUMN FC, which was acquired by Fnatic in 2021. Now, only Boaster remains on the roster.
