VALORANT Champions Tour: VCT Champions in Berlin

The VALORANT Champions Tour is nearing its climactic end as teams from around the world battle it out for the title of the game’s first official world champion. Sixteen teams will compete in VCT Champions in Berlin, with a chance to win a share of $1 million and lift the Champions trophy.

Teams Competing at VCT Champions

Sixteen teams from various regions will be flying to Berlin to compete on-stage. Here are the 16 teams participating in VCT Champions, grouped by region:

  • EMEA (Europe, CIS, Turkey): Acend, Gambit, Fnatic, Team Liquid
  • North America: Sentinels, Team Envy, Cloud9
  • Brazil: Vivo Keyd, Team Vikings, FURIA
  • Southeast Asia: X10 Esports, FULL SENSE, Team Secret
  • Korea: Vision Strikers
  • Japan: Crazy Raccoon
  • Latin America: KRU Esports

Notably, Sentinels, Crazy Raccoon, and KRU Esports are the only three teams to have attended Masters Reykjavik, Masters Berlin, and now VCT Champions.

VCT Champions Format

The format for VCT Champions is the same as Masters Berlin. The 16 teams have been divided into four groups, each containing four teams. The groups will follow a double-elimination bracket format, with two teams advancing from each group. The groups were drawn based on the teams’ final placements at Challenger events and the strength of their respective regions. Riot Games made sure that teams from the same region were not placed in the same group.

After the group stage, the eight advancing teams will be redrawn into a single-elimination bracket. All matches, except for the grand finals, will be best-of-three.

Groups

Here are the groups for the VCT Champions group stage:

  • Group A: Acend, Team Envy, Vivo Keyd, X10 Esports
  • Group B: Sentinels, Team Liquid, FURIA, KRU Esports
  • Group C: Gambit, Crazy Raccoon, Team Secret, Team Vikings
  • Group D: Vision Strikers, Fnatic, Cloud9, FULL SENSE
