VALORANT Beta Concludes Without Further Patches Ahead of June 2 Launch

The Upcoming Launch of VALORANT: What Gamers Can Expect

Gamers eagerly anticipating the release of Riot Games’ new tactical shooter, VALORANT, will find that the current beta version closely resembles the official release set to launch on June 2.

VALORANT’s executive producer, Anna Donlon, recently announced that no new patches will be released for the closed beta due to its proximity to the game’s official launch date.

In a recent tweet, Anna Donlon stated, “We will not be patching again before launch, since servers come down so soon. BUT, launch will contain fixes and improvements to many of the issues you’ve been reporting on, including hit registration feeling off, disabled blood & much more. Patch notes will be included!”

VALORANT has already made a significant impact on platforms like Twitch, with record-breaking viewership. Since the beta’s start in early April, players have discovered various interesting bugs that Riot has been addressing.

With characters possessing exceptional mobility abilities, such as Omen and Jett, there have been instances where players find themselves stuck in walls or propped up into ceilings.

Although the game’s official launch is only a few weeks away, there is still potential for new content to require hotfixes and patch adjustments.

Riot has plans to introduce a new map, agent, and game mode on the release day of VALORANT.

While the approaching release of VALORANT is an exciting prospect for many gamers, Riot will need to handle the management of potential bugs in the coming weeks.
