Using Omen’s Dark Cover ability in VALORANT for wall vision

Omen’s Dark Cover Ability Allows Players to See Through Walls in VALORANT

VALORANT players have discovered a new exploit involving Omen and his Dark Cover ability. By spamming the ability, players can briefly see through walls and gather information on the enemy team.

Omen’s Dark Cover ability was updated in the full release of VALORANT to buff the agent and make him a more viable option. When players press the reload key while using the ability, they can precisely place the smokescreen by navigating through a dark version of the map. While this new feature makes it easier to place smokescreens, it has also created a new exploit.

A player demonstrated that by spamming the reload key, they can briefly see through walls and spot enemy players. Although the vision through walls lasts only for a split second, repeatedly spamming the key provides enough information to gain an advantage over enemies.

This exploit allows players to track enemy movement without any risk. While the Omen player may be vulnerable while performing the exploit, a teammate can easily provide cover. This issue is especially useful for tracking enemy rotations between different bombsites, giving other players an unfair warning.

This is not the first exploit involving Omen. Players previously discovered several locations where Omen could glitch into walls by combining his Shrouded Step ability with Sage’s wall. Although some of these locations were fixed before VALORANT’s full release, the agent now has a new exploit for Riot Games to address.

Riot Games has not officially acknowledged the exploit yet, but fans may see an update addressing it in the next few days.
