Useful Sova Drone Tactic for A Site on Ascent Highlighted by VALORANT Player

VALORANT Player Discovers New Drone Spot to Reveal A Site

A VALORANT player has found a clever way to gain an advantage by using Sova’s drone to see into A site. By flying the drone above a stone wall near the entrance of A main, players can unlock a higher vantage point.

How to Reach the Drone Spot

The player has uploaded a short clip demonstrating the method to reach the drone spot. To achieve this, deploy the drone and position it directly above the stone wall near the entrance of A main. If executed correctly, the drone will ascend higher into the sky.

Once the drone has reached the desired position, players can navigate it towards a nearby awning. By resting the drone on top of the awning, it gains even greater height, providing a bird’s-eye view of the entire A site. This tactic is valuable for locating enemy positions and facilitating team pushes to capture the site.

Sova’s drone typically has limited vertical mobility when deployed from ground level. However, by using it in conjunction with higher objects, the drone can continue to ascend, creating opportunities for advantageous angles.

Usually, players will fly the drone directly into the A site, making it an easy target for defenders to destroy without revealing their positions. However, using the drone from this new spot can catch enemies off guard in crucial rounds while supplying crucial information to teammates.

It’s important not to overuse this tactic as the defending team will likely catch on to the drone’s positioning. To keep the enemy guessing, it’s advisable to switch up the drone’s angle each round, requiring them to cover different spots.
