The Potential for Unique Signature Weapons in VALORANT
In the world of VALORANT, each agent already has their own unique ability kit. But players have begun imagining what it would be like if each agent also had their own signature weapon, instead of relying on the same set of guns available to everyone.
On October 4th, a player posed this question to the VALORANT community: What would each agent’s “custom weapon” look like? The community responded with some awesome ideas.
One suggestion that caught attention was giving the fire-wielding agent, Phoenix, a flamethrower. This would add a new level of chaos and excitement to his gameplay. Imagine Phoenix running around with a flamethrower, burning enemies and causing mayhem.
Another interesting idea was to equip the water-themed agent, Harbor, with a 90’s Super Soaker. This would be a hilarious addition, as Harbor already has water-based abilities that can slow down enemies. Soaking enemies with a Super Soaker would certainly fit his theme and add a nostalgic twist for players.
Other suggestions included Jett having kitchen knives as throwable weapons, Astra using a star-powered laser, Omen using a shadow beam, and Gekko’s Wingman carrying a pistol.
All of these unique agent weapons would bring a whole new dynamic to VALORANT. It would create a gameplay experience similar to Overwatch 2, but it’s still a fun concept to explore in VALORANT.
