Tyler1 Shares Thoughts on VALORANT: Streamer Influence and Quality Determine its Potential

Riot Games Unveils VALORANT: Streamer Tyler1 Gives First Impression

First-person shooter fans were excited when Riot Games recently revealed VALORANT, a new five-on-five firefight game that combines elements from popular titles such as CS:GO and Overwatch. Twitch streamer Tyler1 has now shared his first impression of the game.

After watching the gameplay preview of VALORANT on his stream, Tyler1, who is known for playing League of Legends, gave his thoughts on the upcoming title. Despite acknowledging that it’s still in the early stages of development, Tyler1 believes that VALORANT has the potential to make a mark in the FPS genre.

“This looks really early,” Tyler1 said. “Streamers will play it just because it’s from Riot, so if it’s good, it’ll get a chance.”

Tyler1 mentioned that games like Apex Legends and Escape from Tarkov gained immense popularity after top Twitch streamers began broadcasting themselves playing the game. The same phenomenon is likely to happen with VALORANT, especially considering Riot’s history of creating one of the most popular games of all time.

In terms of visuals, Tyler1 noted that the current alpha testing version of VALORANT has low-quality animations.

VALORANT, which will be free-to-play, offers a variety of characters known as agents, each with their unique set of abilities designed to enhance gameplay without overpowering it, according to Riot. The game features a fast time-to-kill, emphasizing the importance of good aim and quick thinking.

VALORANT is expected to be released in the summer of 2020, giving Riot ample time to improve the graphics.
