Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik, a Sought-After Player in the North American VALORANT Scene
The North American VALORANT scene is buzzing with excitement as the VCT Americas 2023 league approaches. Many top teams, such as OpTic, XSET, and TSM, are still in search of partnerships, resulting in an abundance of highly sought-after free agents.
One such player seeking new opportunities is Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik. Like other players vying for spots on partner or top-end Challengers teams, Subroza is leveraging his large social media presence to showcase standout highlights and attract attention.

Subroza’s most recent highlight reel showcases his impressive skills on Fracture. Playing as Chamber, he aggressively takes control of A Hall and eliminates a Jett and Harbor duo who believed they were safe behind Harbor’s Cascade. Even as an enemy Brimstone tries to challenge him, Subroza outplays him as well, avoiding a full Breach flash to eliminate Breach. After quickly teleporting back to A Link, Subroza transitions back to A Drop and lands a headshot on a Cypher who had just used their ultimate.

A couple of days prior, Subroza showcased his prowess as Jett. Despite his team facing a tough situation, Subroza put on an impressive defensive performance on the A site of Breeze. He secured another ace, ending it with a mesmerizing spray transfer despite having only five points of health remaining.

Subroza has been a mainstay in various competitive TSM rosters over the past two years. With TSM not acquiring a partnership, Subroza and the other active roster members have been exploring other options. However, most of the NA rosters have already been announced or reported, leaving limited opportunities for partnered teams.
Despite not securing a partnership with Riot, TSM remains committed to VALORANT. If the organization competes in Challengers next year, keeping Subroza as a key player would be a wise decision.
