TSM recruits Bang for NA VCT Stage 3 in VALORANT

TSM Adds Sean “Bang” Bezerra to VALORANT Roster

TSM has officially signed Sean “Bang” Bezerra to their VALORANT roster, filling the last spot on their five-man team. Bang had been seen practicing with TSM before the announcement, and now it has been confirmed.

Bang Fills Opening Left by Cutler

Bang is replacing Stephen “reltuC” Cutler, who was benched in May after TSM’s elimination from VCT Stage Two. Initially, it seemed like Braxton “brax” Pierce would join the starting roster, but they went separate ways and brax returned to T1. TSM made the decision to bench Cutler and bring in coach Chet after two disappointing performances in the first two NA stages of VCT.

Coach Chet explained in a video announcement why Bang was chosen over brax. According to Chet, they needed someone more aggressive and young. Bang was the perfect fit because he’s a free agent, communicates well, plays hard, and brings fresh ideas. Brax is not a bad player, but he didn’t fit their team roles.

The team is excited about Bang and appreciates Chet’s direct and confrontational coaching approach.

Bang has previously played for Phoenix1, Team Serenity, and On The Way Esports in various roles, including duelist and controller. He primarily played heroes like Omen, Phoenix, Astra, and Raze. At only 17 years old, Bang may not have as much competitive experience as his teammates, but he brings potential, energy, and strong aiming skills to the TSM camp.

The full TSM roster now consists of James “hazed” Cobb, Matthew “Wardell” Yu, Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik, Taylor “drone” Johnson, Bang, and coach Chet Singh.

The retooled TSM roster will debut at the NA VCT Stage Three: Challengers One open qualifier on July 1. They might face 100 Thieves in the fourth round, where a spot in the main event will be at stake.
