In VALORANT, you can try your luck in competitive solo queue to test your skills. Though sometimes you’ll encounter toxic teammates, there’s still a chance to climb the ranks by yourself.

If you choose to play solo, you’ll have to bear with the challenges and rely solely on your abilities. However, it’s still possible to succeed.

What agents are the best for playing solo queue competitive in VALORANT?

You’ll notice that we’ve placed the sentinel agents at the top of the list. Sentinels are the easiest to play in solo queue since they are least reliant on your teammates.

Duelists are the second best choice for solo queue players because they have abilities that allow them to make plays independently. Initiators and controllers can be challenging since their abilities are meant to set up plays for teammates.

Reyna

Reyna is a strong choice for solo queue due to her independent playstyle. Her abilities like Devour and Dismiss provide sustainability, and her ultimate allows her to secure kills. She can also use Leer to distract enemies and create opportunities to outplay them.

Killjoy

Killjoy is a great agent for solo queue since her abilities can secure defense on her own. Even without coordinated teamwork, she can lock down a site with her setups and bots.

Raze

Raze is an excellent choice for solo queue due to her ability to create space and clear out enemy hiding spots. Her abilities like Boom Bot and Paintshell grenades are valuable for checking hiding spots and gaining an advantage in attack.

Sage

Sage is a well-rounded agent in VALORANT and is reliable in solo queue. Her abilities like Slow Orb and her wall are useful tools for slowing down the enemy team and preventing overwhelming attacks on defense.

Chamber

Chamber excels in solo queue due to his ability to secure early kills. Despite recent nerfs, his teleporter and powerful weapon kit can give you an advantage in each round.
