Top 9 VALORANT Players with the Highest Earnings

The esports scene for VALORANT continues to grow, thanks in large part to the global prominence of the VALORANT Champions Tour. And for players looking to compete at the highest level, there’s not only glory and fame to be gained, but also a significant amount of prize money from the growing prize pools.

Since the scene took off in 2020, many players have earned money by winning at the highest level, especially with the increase in prize pools for events like VCT Masters and Champions 2022. In total, a staggering $20.96 million has been awarded since April 2020, with the latest Champions 2023 setting a new record with a $2.25 million prize pool.

Here are the top-earning players in the world of VALORANT. This list has been updated as of the conclusion of VCT Champions 2023.

  • Ethan: $288,266
  • Jawgemo: $258,906
  • Boostio: $253,136
  • C0M: $252,366
  • Demon1: $246,666

The current Evil Geniuses roster achieved the ultimate prize when they concluded their magical 2023 run with one of the most unexpected world championship performances. By claiming the majority of the biggest VALORANT prize pool ever at Champions 2023, all five players soared to the top of the earnings list, with Ethan just barely surpassing the others due to his success from 2020 to 2021 with 100 Thieves.

  • Chronicle: $238,571

Chronicle stands out with three international trophies to his name, having won Masters Berlin 2021 with Gambit before securing back-to-back victories with Fnatic at LOCK//IN and Masters Tokyo in 2023. A versatile player with exceptional playmaking abilities, he is one of the most accomplished players in VALORANT and still only 21 years old.

Boaster and Derke

  • Boaster: $214,422
  • Derke: $211,482

By the end of 2022, Fnatic’s well-known duo of Boaster and Derke were widely recognized as two of the best players yet to win an international trophy. However, in 2023, the new Fnatic roster, with the addition of Chronicle and Leo, along with the rising star Alfajer, went from being uncrowned to undisputed. While a world championship still eludes the long-time duo, Fnatic is expected to once again be strong contenders in 2024.

Saadhak

  • Saadhak: $207,560

Between a dominant 2022 season that culminated in a world championship, a grand finals run at VCT LOCK//IN, and a first-place finish in the first season of VCT Americas, the entire LOUD team has achieved significant success in just the past few years.

Saadhak holds a slight all-time earnings advantage over his teammates, thanks to his performance in 2021 with Team Vikings, which included a top-six finish at Masters Reykjavík 2021.
