TimTheTatman’s Take on VALORANT: “Overwhelming Amount of Content”

TimTheTatman vs. Dr Disrespect: Who Placed Higher in VALORANT Ranked Mode?

Popular Twitch streamers TimTheTatman and Dr Disrespect recently faced off in a VALORANT challenge to determine who could achieve a higher rank in the game’s beta. However, TimTheTatman seemed to struggle with adjusting to agent abilities after taking a break from the game since April 22.

During one particular round, TimTheTatman was eliminated after encountering a barrage of abilities used by his opponents. Frustrated, he went on a brief rant about the overwhelming amount of abilities in VALORANT compared to games like Counter-Strike.

“There’s too much fucking shit in this game,” TimTheTatman exclaimed. “In Counter-Strike, you have one smoke, right? … In this game there’s too much shit. I can’t see anything.”

As he complained about the excessive abilities in VALORANT, TimTheTatman listed five different abilities off the top of his head that impede the vision of enemies. This further highlighted his frustration with the game.

TimTheTatman is a well-known Twitch streamer who has played a variety of shooting games throughout his career. In addition to games like Call of Duty and CS:GO, he has also spent a significant amount of time playing Overwatch and Fortnite.

Given his experience, one would expect TimTheTatman to easily adapt to the VALORANT scene. Initially, he did perform well during the closed beta. However, after taking a break to play Warzone for a month, he found himself struggling with some of the encounters in VALORANT.

“I’m just too used to Counter-Strike,” he admitted. “Just adapt 4Head, right. You’re absolutely right. I didn’t think about it that way.”

It’s worth noting that TimTheTatman is not the only one who has voiced concerns about the impact of abilities in VALORANT. Summit1g, another popular streamer, early on in the closed beta expressed his belief that abilities could potentially be detrimental to the overall experience of the game.
