VALORANT Bug: Reyna’s Overhealed Issue in Iso’s Kill Contract
Since the release of Iso in VALORANT’s Episode Seven, Act Three, players have encountered some peculiar flaws while using his abilities. However, one major issue involves Reyna, who gains extra health points while in Iso’s Kill Contract.
A player named u/PureTwo0 shared their experience on Reddit on November 2nd. They encountered a seemingly invincible Reyna who survived a headshot from a Vandal rifle while under Iso’s ultimate ability. A Vandal bullet deals 160 damage to the head, surpassing the player’s maximum health by 10 HP. This left PureTwo0 thoroughly confused.
Unless Reyna had the opportunity to receive healing during the fight, this occurrence doesn’t make sense. Since you can’t heal while inside Iso’s one-vs-one arena, the only logical explanation is a bug that gives Reyna more than 160 HP.
Players in the Reddit thread speculated that Reyna might have overhealed before being summoned into Iso’s Kill Contract. Since the ultimate replenishes the health of both Iso and his opponents, it’s possible that Reyna’s total health exceeded 160 HP.
Some players expressed their frustration with the bug, highlighting how Reyna’s abilities counter Iso’s ultimate. This bug is currently causing significant issues for Iso players.
Several players in the Reddit thread reported experiencing the same bug with Reyna. It’s clear that this is a bug in VALORANT that needs immediate attention and patching from Riot Games.
While I personally haven’t encountered the Reyna bug in discussion during my games with Iso, it’s evident that this flaw could significantly impact the gameplay experience.
Iso shouldn’t have to deal with an overhealed Reyna or an opponent using combat-stim inside his ultimate. The purpose of Iso’s ultimate is to apply the Suppressed effect on both players, not to have such imbalances.
