TenZ joins Sentinels as stand-in for VCT NA Masters One

Sentinels Adds TenZ as Stand-In for VCT Masters One

Sentinels has confirmed that Tyson “TenZ” Ngo will be joining their lineup as a stand-in for VCT Masters One. TenZ, who has been a content creator for Cloud9 since stepping back from their competitive VALORANT roster in January, brings a wealth of experience to the team.

TenZ’s Impressive Background in VALORANT

TenZ was the first player to reach the Radiant rank in the VALORANT beta and was a top player in the early stages of VALORANT competitive tournaments. However, Cloud9 failed to live up to their potential and fell behind other teams in the region.

Sentinels Acquires TenZ’s Rights

Following a recent ruling by Riot Games, Sentinels has acquired the rights to TenZ. This means that the organization can utilize him in matches after VCT Masters One, providing a boost to their roster.

Sentinels’ Need for a Stand-In

Sentinels’ decision to bring in TenZ as a stand-in is due to the recent suspension of Jay “Sinatraa” Won. While an investigation into his conduct with an ex-girlfriend is underway, Sinatraa has been suspended from the team and Riot competitions.

With TenZ joining Shahzeeb “ShahZaM” Khan, Hunter “Sick” Mims, Jared “zombs” Gitlin, and Michael “dapr” Gulino, Sentinels is set to compete against Luminosity in the upcoming match as one of the tournament favorites.

The Sentinels vs. Luminosity match is scheduled for 2pm CT on March 12.
